Welcome to H2Ostsee.de The pictures presented on H2Ostsee.de were taken by Steffen Schmitt. Steffen learned scuba diving in 1990 and made his first steps in underwater photography in 1994. His favorite dive site is the Baltic Sea. During the last 15 years he spent a lot of his time capturing species living in this small ocean. He currently uses a Canon EOS40D in a Hugyfot housing in combination with Subtronic underwater strobes. The gallery on h2ostsee.de contains impressions from the Baltic Sea as well as selected pictures captured in fresh water lakes in Germany. Other trips lead him to spectacular destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia, North America and New Zealand. Those adventures are presented here.
